- Best for Britain is a cross-party organisation. We work with MPs from all political parties represented at Westminster as well as businesses, industry bodies, NGOs and other campaign groups. We don’t campaign for any particular political party.
- However, over 13 long years in power, the current Government has pushed through policies which have been hugely damaging to the economy and living standards in the UK including austerity and Brexit.
- They have undermined democratic rights in the UK through the introduction of voter ID, by rolling back proportional presentation for elections and attacking rights to peaceful protest.
- They have damaged our international reputation through catastrophic economic mismanagement, threatening to break international law, undermining human rights and open antagonism to the UK’s closest allies.
- For these reasons at the next election we campaigning to elect a more open, internationalist government, which respects the rule of law, strengthens democratic rights and improves living standards

- If a new government is elected we will hold them to the same standards and we will continue to campaign for electoral reform and for solutions to the problems the UK faces after Brexit.
