114 recommendations to fix the problems Britain faces after Brexit
Best for Britain and the UK Trade and Business Commission (UKTBC) published a set of 114 recommendations in a report called “Blueprint: Trading our way to prosperity“.
The UKTBC hosted 38 evidence sessions, performed site visits, taken over 80 hours of live testimony from 234 expert witnesses, industry leaders and business owners and received written evidence submissions from over 200 organisations as part of an open consultation.
These recommendations are designed to be the solutions to the problems Britain faces after Brexit: to enhance the UK’s trading relationships, foster business growth, and navigate through the current challenging landscape.

The UK Government has accepted several of our recommendations, most significantly in the reset of UK-EU relations overseen by the Labour government after its election in 2024.
At time of writing our tracker of the 114 UK-EU Policy Recommendations has identified 20 recommendations that have been completely achieved already, 34 that are on track to be completed and 30 that are in progress - a total of 84 completed or underway.
