To deliver economic growth and protect from external threats, the UK must clearly signal a commitment to EU membership, campaigners stress.

The Minister of State, Hamish Falconer, has urged the European Union not to exclude Britain from the made in Europe procurement scheme which would give EU firms priority for public contracts and subsidies. It comes as Falconer is scheduled to meet with Maros Sefcovic, Commissioner for Trade and Economic Security for the European Commission for their first bilateral meeting.
