How much is Brexit really costing us? The Cost of Brexit

A deeper and stronger UK-EU alliance will deliver transformative growth across the country, campaigners affirm.

Ed Miliband has been appointed as foreign secretary in Prime Minister Andy Burnham’s new cabinet. In an open letter, Miliband says he will “seek to deepen and strengthen” the UK’s relationship with the EU which is “important for our prosperity and security.”

Naomi Smith, Chief Executive of Best for Britain, said:

“It is very welcome to hear the new Foreign Secretary prioritising the UK’s relationship with Europe.

“As our econometric and polling research demonstrates, membership of the EU is a policy that delivers transformative, redistributive growth across the country and is popular with voters prepared to back Labour at the next election.”
